War Eagle Cavern has spectacular natural entrance that is breathtaking. Following the easy, wide pathways (no stairs) along the edge of the stream flowing throughout the cavern, the knowledgeable guides lead the way through huge rooms, explaining incredible "domes," rimstone dam waterfalls and other formations, relating stories of warriors, draft-dodgers, robbers, moonshiners, squatters and spelunkers who have used the cavern over the years. The cavern can be reached by land or by boat. Mine for real gemstones at the War Eagle Mining Company.
